STILLWATER – State troopers are investigating after they say a group of people swiped a dozen chickens in Columbia County and came back a few days later with company for a potential follow-up theft.
This happened on July 5 around 8:30pm at a property on Ridge Road in Fishing Creek Township, near Stillwater.
State Police at Bloomsburg said they responded to the location at that time after three Hispanic men wearing ski masks broke into the chicken coop and stole 12 chickens.
On July 9, the actors returned with company. At least eight people in three cars — a grey Infiniti with window tint, a silver Infiniti with a white aftermarket bumper, and a dark Jeep Grand Cherokee were all involved, troopers said.
Anyone with information on these vehicles or the theft should call troopers at 570-387-4261.
