Just before 11 a.m., officers patrolling near Fowler and Ashlan avenues say they attempted to conduct a stop on a teenager they witnessed riding recklessly on an electric motorcycle.
Police say a pursuit began once the 17-year-old sped off, leading them on for about 10 minutes before arriving at his house.
There, officers say they were met by the boy’s father, who cooperated and let them inside his home. The teen had hidden the motorcycle and changed his clothes.
After speaking with the teen, he was ultimately arrested and booked into Juvenile Hall on multiple vehicle code violations, including felony evading and riding a motorcycle unlicensed.
