INDIANAPOLIS – An investigation is underway after two people were critically injured in a shooting on Indy’s near east side Sunday morning.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, just before 7 a.m., officers were called to the 500 block of Parker Avenue on the report of shots fired.
When officers arrived on scene, they located a male and female victim with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds. Both were transported to an area hospital in critical condition, police said.
No additional information was provided. The incident remains under investigation.
