NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department is looking for a suspect vehicle following a fatal hit-and-run incident that happened in the early morning hours of Saturday, July 12.
According to the NOPD, the incident happened at the intersection of Alvar Street and Saint Claude Avenue, and involved a bicyclist as well as a dark gray or black four-door sedan, thought to potentially be either a Nissan or Toyota with damage to the windshield and headlight on the passenger side.
Police say they believe that the vehicle, pictured below, hit the victim, whose identity and official cause of death will be released following an autopsy.
