Texas flood donations collected in St. Tammany Parish
ST. TAMMANY PARISH, La. (WGNO) — St. Tammany residents are being asked to step up and support flood victims in Kerr County, Texas. Families there are in urgent need of supplies after devastating flooding.
Donations are being collected Monday through Friday at the E.J. Fielding Funeral Home in Covington from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. until July 25.
The move to gather supplies was reportedly done in collaboration between E.J. Fielding and the Louisiana Funeral Directors Association. Officials say donations needed are as follows:

Hydration packets for water bottles.
Personal hygiene items.
Feminine products.
Baby wipes and diapers.
Flashlights.
Portable fans.
First-aid supplies.
Paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissues.
Paper plates, plastic forks and spoons.
Coolers.
Non-perishable food items.
Work gloves.
Batteries.
Buckets.
Other miscellaneous cleaning supplies.
