ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford hosted the Illinois Paranormal Conference at Veterans Memorial Hall this year.

The gathering was hosted by Kathi Kresol, a historian and author who worked for the Rockford Public Library, and Samantha Hochman, the Executive Director of Tinker Swiss Cottage Museum.

The conference had multiple speakers who are known authors and researchers in the paranormal community.

Here is a full list of the speakers:

  • Richard Estep – An author of more than 30 books, with topics ranging from ghosts and hauntings to cryptids and UFOs.
  • Larry Eissler III – An author and award-winning creator of the Expedition Entity series on Paranormal+ networks.
  • AJ Gutierrez – An experienced paranormal investigator who has over 265,000 followers on TikTok and YouTube.
  • Tobias Wayland – The lead investigator with the Singular Fortean Society.
  • Robyn Davis and Ted Williams – The founders of the Haunted Galena Tour Company.

From 7-11 p.m., guests are invited to head over to the Tinker Cottage for a paranormal investigation.
