IMPD: Person shot, critically injured on Indy’s east side

Indianapolis Metro police crews were called just after 6 p.m. Friday to the 3000 block of N. Mitthoefer Road near the 30th Street intersection for a person shot.

Upon arrival, IMPD said officers found a male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. That victim was last reported to be in critical condition while en route to a local hospital.

No other information was immediately provided. FOX59/CBS4 has a crew on the way to the scene to gather more details.
