LaGRANGE, Ga. (WRBL) — LaGrange Police say a woman is dead after being attacked by two large dogs.
Officers responded to the area near Swanson and Juniper Street on Friday at 11:11 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers found a woman in the roadway being attacked by two large dogs. Officers say they stopped the attack and provided medical aid.
The woman, identified as Theresa Patterson, was taken to the West Georgia Medical Center for further treatment, but she succumbed to her injuries.
The Criminal Investigations Division was notified and says this is an active and ongoing investigation.
The LaGrange Police Department is urging anyone who may have information related to this case to contact Detective Blane at 706-883-2623.
