Opelika Police searching for theft suspect

OPELIKA, Ala. (WRBL) — The Opelika Police Department is searching for a man believed to have committed identity theft.

Police believe the subject, a white male, stole a person’s debit card on May 19 in West Point, Georgia. The subject used the debit card at the Walgreens Pharmacy ATM located at 2015 Pepperell Parkway.

The victim of the crime states they received a fraud alert from their bank on the same day.
