Multi-platinum country artist Gary Allan is bringing his latest tour to the Appalachian Wireless Arena in Pikeville. The show is set for 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 17.
General admission tickets for the concert go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, July 18, through the Arena’s box office or ticketmaster.com. According to Ticketmaster, Artist Presale tickets will be available from 10 a.m. Monday, July 14, to 10 p.m. Tuesday, July 15; Radio Presale tickets will be available from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday, July 16; and Venue Presale tickets will be available from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday, July 17.
Gary Allan, a native of California, began his music career in the mid-90s and earned his first number-one hit in 2003 with his 2001 single “Man to Man,” according to CMT. He would get his second number-one hit later that year with the single “Tough Little Boys.”
His latest album, “Ruthless,” released in June 2021. Throughout his career, Allan has released eight studio albums, selling more than 8 million. Of those albums, three went platinum back-to-back, and five have been certified gold. He has also had five number-one hits, with 14 hits in the top 10.
