Colma PD looking for man who purchased iPad with stolen credit card
(KRON) – The Colma Police Department is asking for community assistance in the search for a man they say purchased an iPad with a stolen credit card last year, said the department Friday.

The theft transpired on Aug. 28 of last year. Colma police responded to a Target on Junipero Serra Boulevard for the report of a stolen wallet. The victim called CPD to inform officers that one of their cards was used to purchase an iPad worth $1,370.11 at a Best Buy on Colma Boulevard. 

Colma police conducted a follow-up investigation at the electronics store and obtained security footage of the suspect.

The suspect (image above) was wearing a black Nike t-shirt and a black baseball hat. 

Anyone with information regarding the suspect’s identity or whereabouts is asked to contact the Colma Police Department Detective Bureau at 650-997-8321. Tipsters who would like to remain anonymous can call the anonymous tip line at 650-997-8337.
