Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office hosting a career fair

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office is seeking individuals to join its Detention team.

A Corrections Deputy Career Fair will be held on Saturday, July 19, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Caddo Correctional Center.

Applicants who complete an application will receive a tour of the Caddo Correctional Center and the opportunity to ask questions to determine if the role is something they feel confident in performing. The department also has openings in the food service and records divisions, as well as positions for Licensed Practical Nurses, Registered Nurses, and Paramedics.

Applicants must be 21 years of age or older and be prepared to provide a valid driver’s license, birth certificate, Social Security card, high school diploma or GED, or a college degree.
