Amazon Huge “Buy 2 Get 1 Free” on 4K Blu-rays Sale Ends Soon, Here’s What I Recommend Buying ASAP

Amazon’s Prime Day 2025 sale ends after today, and one of the standout offers you won’t want to miss before the end of the sale, is the immensely popular 3-for-2 promotion across physical media. Most notably, some of the best 4K movie deals for Prime Day are included in this promotion.

If you’ve been meaning to build out your 4K UHD collection, plug some gaps in your shelf, or finally grab that steelbook edition you’ve had your eye on, now’s the time before Prime Day comes to a close at 11:59 PM PST, July 11.

4K UHD Blu-rays: Buy 2, Get 1 Free Sale

The offer is as simple as it is effective: buy two, get a third item free. Just add three qualifying products to your basket and the cheapest one gets knocked off the total at checkout. No codes, and better still, no Prime membership required (despite this sale going live over Prime Day).

The lineup this year is especially stacked. Alongside recent releases like Warfare and the Jaws 50th Anniversary Edition, new additions since the sale went live include Deadpool & Wolverine, Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2, Seven, and Total Recall in glorious 4K. We’ve also seen plenty of anime added to the mix.

That’s in addition to long-standing essentials like The Thing, The Shining, Jurassic Park, and Blade Runner. And if you’re a sucker for boutique packaging, there are plenty of limited-edition steelbooks and box sets in the mix too.

It’s also landing at the same time as a major sale on The Criterion Collection, with dozens of critically acclaimed classics and hidden gems discounted across the board.

The deal scales with your cart, so the more you bundle, the more you save – grab six items, get two free, and so on. You can also mix and match categories, with eligible books, board games, puzzles, and vinyl included alongside movies and TV box sets. Want to pair a couple of steelbooks with a book like Sunrise on the Reaping or Project Hail Mary? That works just fine.

As always, Amazon’s search filters are still bizarrely behind the times – every movie and TV show is still marked as ‘DVD’ even when it’s a 4K release.

But the actual sale page makes it fairly easy to sort through once you’re in. And if Amazon doesn’t have the exact edition you’re after, Target is running a very similar 3-for-2 offer with some crossover stock.

Should I Wait for More Prime Day Deals?

So, should you wait for Prime Day itself to ramp up? Not for this deal. It’s already live, it’s one of the best offers you’ll see this week, and you don’t need a Prime account to take advantage.

The longer Prime Day format (now four days instead of two) just means more time to browse – and more time for stock to vanish.

If you still care about owning your favorite films outright – rather than trusting the whims of ever-shrinking streaming libraries – this is the kind of sale that just makes sense.

See More Prime Day Deals

Prime Day runs July 8 through July 11 this year. This is a break from tradition as Amazon has made the switch from a two-day event to a four-day event. It’s the longest Prime Day Amazon has ever had, and there’s already a slew of freebies you can grab if you’re a Prime member right now.

In addition to the Amazon sale, both Walmart, Target, and Best Buy have competing events in July.
