Amazon’s Prime Day deals are heading the way of the Dodo in the coming hours, and that means you don’t have much time left to make your purchases. If you’re a Switch 2 owner, still play your Switch 1, or anything else, then good news – there are a whole host of deals on games, storage options, and so much more. Here are the best ones we’ve found.
Amazon has an array of games discounted, including retro collections new releases. The big one is probably the Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1, which has been reduced by almost 60% and includes iconic entries in the stealth action series that you can take with you on the go.
For under $20, you can get the Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection, Rune Factory 5, Balatro Special Edition, and Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life.
If you’re looking for first-party titles, you’ll find those discounted at Best Buy instead, including Super Mario Odyssey, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Splatoon 3 and more.
There are a bunch of microSD cards on sale for your Switch 1, including some slick ones with Sonic branding. With the Prime Day savings, you can get 1TB for $69.99 (a saving of 40%), 512GB for $29.99 (30% off) or 256GB for $19.99 (17% off).
Ironically, though, these Sonic offerings aren’t fast enough for Switch 2. For the new system, you’ll need a microSD Express card, which are harder to find and not discounted.
This Nintendo-branded Samsung option is 256GB and will work perfectly for your Switch 2, but it’ll set you back $59.99.
Tomtoc’s popular Slim case has seen a 38% discount, but the StartRC Slim Case is even cheaper by almost half at just $15.99.
If you want a case that’ll hold the Switch 2, multiple pairs of Joy-Cons, a charger, and games, there’s a great option from TiMOVO that can do just that for just over $14.
For a screen protector, you can get a pack of two for the Switch 2 for just $6.99 from JSAUX, reduced from $11.99.
There’s also a massive accessories bundle with 16 pieces that includes a case, screen protectors, controller grips, and much more for Nintendo’s latest system at a 40% discount that makes it $29.99.
Nintendo is finally offering the Switch 2 via invite for fans to get access via Amazon, but there are a whole host of peripherals now discounted at the retailer, too.
We expect the Pro Controller 2 to be particularly popular. While the first-gen one will work on Switch 2, this model adds extra rear buttons and the C button for the new console’s GameChat functionality.
You can get an extra pair of Joy-Con controllers, too, but they won’t come cheap, as well as the Joy-Con Charging Grip for $39.99.
If you want your friends and family to see you grimace when you get hit with a Blue Shell on Mario Kart World, you can pick up the Nintendo Switch 2 Camera, which is $54.
