AUSTIN (KXAN) — Texas Longhorns senior safety Michael Taaffe is joining a local burger restaurant Thursday to help raise money for flood victims.

Taaffe will sign autographs and talk with “anyone who might have been affected” by the catastrophic floods in the Texas Hill Country from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the P. Terry’s Burger Stand location at 517 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Austin.

“I really want to do something to impact the community and show some support,” he said in a video he posted on X. “I’ll continue to pray for everyone who was affected, and my heart goes out to everybody. God bless, and Hook ’em.”

All 36 P. Terry’s locations will donate all of their profits Thursday to the Austin Disaster Relief Network, specifically to ADRN’s Central Texas Flood fundraising campaign. The restaurant made the announcement Monday via social media.
