A few isolated high-based showers and storms may pop up over the mountains Wednesday afternoon, but any rain should remain very light. Gusty outflow winds and lightning will be the main threats. Overnight lows will stay mild dipping down into the 60s and 70s.
Slightly cooler air arrives for the latter half of the week, with continued dry weather. Daytime highs will only be in the upper 80s and low 90s along the Wasatch Front, with highs back to near 105° for SW Utah.
