BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — The King may have left the building, but he’s coming back to rock Bloomington—sort of.

“Elvis: In Person,” the acclaimed Elvis Presley tribute concert starring Matt Stone, is set to shake up the Buskirk-Chumley Theater on Sunday, July 20. The show starts at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.

“When I heard [Matt]… now if I close my eyes that’s Elvis. It touched my heart. The only person I ever heard sing like that was my brother, and [Matt] was real close—SCARY— that’s how close it was.”- Billy Stanley (Elvis’ Step Brother)

Billed as the #1 Elvis Tribute Concert in America, the performance promises an authentic experience of Elvis in his prime—not the rhinestone jumpsuit parody, but the electrifying young star who transformed rock ’n’ roll forever. Stone’s uncanny vocals and stage presence have earned him high praise, even from those closest to the legend.

Stone was recently recognized by the Elvis Presley Estate as one of the top tribute performers in the world and has been featured on SiriusXM’s Elvis Radio. Backed by the energetic TEC Band, the concert aims to appeal to fans of all ages and to shake off the stigma of low-effort impersonators.

Tickets are available online through the Buskirk-Chumley Theater’s website. E-tickets will be sent via email, and printed tickets are available by request at the box office during regular hours. To reach the box office, call (812) 323-3020 ext. 1.

The Buskirk-Chumley Theater is located at 114 E. Kirkwood Ave. in downtown Bloomington.
