FLUKER, La. (WGNO) — A child is wounded after a shots fired incident occurred in the Fluker area on Thursday morning, July 10.
According to the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office, report of shots being fired in the 12000 block of Guiteau Mill Road began coming in around 4 a.m.
Shortly thereafter, a mother reported that she found a bullet hole in an exterior wall of her home, and that her 8-year-old son had been shot in his foot. Officials say the child was taken to a local hospital and remains in stable condition.
