On Monday, around 6:30 p.m., troopers responded to the store at the Brandywine Town Center. According to state police, two women were confronted by a Target employee as they were leaving the store with unpaid merchandise.
During the confrontation, one of the women allegedly sprayed the employee with a “chemical spray” before running out to the parking lot and driving away. Two customers walking into the store were also hit with the spray. All three victims were evaluated by EMS at the scene.
Troopers are looking for two women who fled in a gray Honda Odyssey towards Naamans Road.
