MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — A missing man with autism was quickly located in Montgomery County with the help of the Montgomery County Department of Police’s Real Time Intelligence Center (RTIC).

According to police, on July 5, around 3:45 p.m., officers received reports of a missing 21-year-old non-verbal man with autism after he had run out of his father’s apartment in the 11500 block of Lockwood Drive

RTIC staff were able to spot the man crossing Lockwood Drive toward the White Oak Shopping Center minutes later by using camera systems that were monitoring the area.
