Wildfire off I-84 in Hood River County prompts Level 2 ‘Be Set’ evacuations

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Level 2 “Get Set” evacuations have been issued in Hood River County due to a wildfire.

The fire is located in the Wyeth area near milepost 51 on Interstate 84 and has spread to 25 acres.

The evacuation notice is for the Wyeth Campground and the east end of Herman Creek Road.

“Travelers on I-84 may experience decreased visibility and should be cautious,” officials said.
