Shooting in Baker leaves at least 1 person dead

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The East Baton Rouge Coroner’s Office confirmed a deadly shooting in Baker on Monday evening.

Officials with the coroner’s office said they were called to a shooting near Seville, off of Groom Road, after 6 p.m.

No further details were immediately available at this time.

The Baker Police Department and the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office were on scene.
