MERIWETHER COUNTY, Ga. (WRBL) — The Meriwether County School System is continuing its tradition of providing clear bookbags to every student in Pre-K through 12th grade.

The district says that due to numerous incidents in the past, students have been required to adhere to the clear bag policy.

The Meriwether County School System is committed to providing a safe and secure learning environment for all students, teachers, and staff,”

said Suze Neal, MCSD Director of Compliance. “Since 2022, we have provided clear bookbags to every student in Pre-K through 12th grade to help enhance school safety.”
