A Fulton County man has been arrested for the rape of a minor. Forty-one-year-old Christopher Lee Hendricks of Gepp was arrested Thursday on the class Y felony, the most serious crime in Arkansas not punishable by the death penalty.
According to information from Sheriff Jake Smith and court documents in the case, on June 26 the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office and the Arkansas State Police Crimes Against Children Division began an investigation into the sexual abuse of a child.
Hendricks is a former sex offender. He was arrested in 2005 in Arkansas on a charge of sexual indecency with a minor. He was assessed as a level 1 offender, a low risk to offend again, and came off the sex offender’s list a month or two ago.
Court documents show the incident happened between 2023 and 2025.
The sheriff says the investigation is continuing and more charges may be filed.
Hendricks is being held on $500,000 bond in the Fulton County Jail.
