NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A body was found in a New Orleans canal on Tuesday, July 8.
According to the New Orleans Police Department, the report came in around 1:45 p.m. The body was found on the 200 block of Wales Street in the canal.
At this time, police are calling the investigation an unclassified death. The body will be taken to the Orleans Parish Coroner to determine the cause of death.
