Pho Ha Noi which already has locations in San Jose, Cupertino, Palo Alto, Milpitas and Fremont, is known to regularly draw long lines. Earlier this year, comic actress Ali Wong namechecked the San Jose location as being on her “Mount Rushmore” of favorite noodle soups.
The acclaimed restaurant has been called a “pho sensation” by the San Francisco Chronicle and was featured in Eater, which praised its “generous,” “amply-portioned servings,” and char-grilled pork rolls, which “are not to be missed.”
Pho Ha Noi did not provide a specific timeline for when the Berkeley location would be opening.
