ENFIELD, Conn. (WWLP) – Emergency work on the Route 190 bridge in Enfield will resume on Monday.
The bridge carries traffic over I-91, and drivers can expect lane closures on the bridge and traffic on I-91. The Route 190 east to I-91 north ramp will be closed during work hours.
The work consists of straightening the fascia girder over I-91 north lanes, replacing associated steel, repainting repair areas, and repairing the bearing pedestal where the girder is fixed on the pier.

All of the work will take place overnight between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. The work is expected to be completed by August 15th.
