Lafourche and Terrebonne boil water advisory has been lifted

TERREBONNE PARISH, La. (WGNO) — The Lafourche and Terrebonne Parish boil water advisory was lifted Sunday, July 6.

Samples taken by Terrebonne Consolidated Waterworks were analyzed and indicated that the advisory could be lifted in both parishes.

The advisory applied to residents south of 3792 Highway 56 along highways 55, 56 and 665, as well as those along Company Canal Road and Bourg Larose Highway. The advisory also applied to the Grand Bois Community and Romero Subdivision in Lower Bayou Blue.
