Homeless woman hit, killed by car in San Jose, family says

(KRON) — A homeless woman died Saturday after she was hit and killed by the driver of a Tesla in San Jose, according to the victim’s family.

The victim, Susie Beaochan, was allegedly hit near Columbus Park at the intersection of Coleman Avenue and Asbury Street.

Homeless advocates told KRON4’s Jack Molmud that the driver ran through a crosswalk. However, San Jose PD has provided little info on the case.
