(KRON) – One person is dead and several are injured after an early Saturday morning shooting in San Francisco’s Bayview District, according to authorities.
At 12:07 a.m., San Francisco Police Department officers responded to the 100 block of Harbor Road for a report of a shooting.
Arriving officers located several victims who were suffering from gunshot wounds. Five victims were taken to the hospital, two with life-threatening injuries and three with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
SFPD said one of the victims has succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced dead.
SFPD Homicide Detail is now spearheading this investigation.
