Toddler dies after being found in Williamsburg swimming pool
WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Kentucky toddler died at a hospital in Corbin after he was found in a swimming pool at his home, according to Kentucky State Police.
It happened just after 7:15 p.m. on July 4, according to a news release. Troopers wrote that KSP Post 11 had gotten a call from Whitley County 911 that there was a 1-year-old drowning victim taken to Baptist Health in Corbin.
State police said the toddler had been found in a swimming pool at his residence. The child was taken to the Corbin hospital before being pronounced dead by the Whitley County Coroner’s Office.
