Mild earthquake rumbles parts of the CSRA

CSRA (WJBF) – A mild earthquake rumbled parts of the CSRA late Saturday morning.

According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), a 2.7 magnitude quake was detected in Parksville, South Carolina at 11:22 am.

Parksville is a small town in McCormick County. According to Google, it’s the only town directly on J. Strom Thurmond Lake.

There’s no reports of damage or injuries, but some CSRA residents say they did feel it or heard a rumble.
