Former Owsley County assistant basketball coach under investigation for alleged ‘inappropriate relationship’ with minor

OWSLEY COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — A former Owsley County assistant coach is reportedly being investigated by Kentucky State Police (KSP).

The Owsley County Board of Education posted on Facebook just before 7 p.m. on Friday, July 4, that officials were made aware of a former assistant basketball coach being investigated by KSP for “allegedly having an inappropriate relationship with a minor.”

LATEST KENTUCKY NEWS:

School leaders announced that staff are fully cooperating with the state police investigation.

FOX 56 News has reached out to the board of education for more information, which will be released as it becomes available.
