LAFAYETTE, La. (
KLFY) — Just over three years ago, Conley and Paige Turner started Mother’s Day with their two children like any other Sunday. Later that day, however, 4-year-old Conley Jr. would lose his life in a drowning accident.
About one year after their son’s passing, the Turners decided it was time to help other families prevent the grief they will feel forever. So, they started Pool Guardian,
a pool fencing business.
Conley travels throughout the state to put up pool fences, so families can spend time outside worry-free. He will visit your home prior to installation to help you come up with a placement plan for both safety and aesthetic purposes. Then, you’ll get a quote and Pool Guardian will order materials. In about one week, your fence will be up.
Conley says although he can’t stop all child drownings, he can at least try to make a difference. To create a safer space outside for your children, visit here.
