Corp reports campgrounds filling up for holiday weekend


One of the biggest holiday weekends of the year is underway and the Corp of Engineers is reporting that area campgrounds are quickly filling up with visitors.
Chief Ranger for the Corp of Engineers, Dylan Edwards says that although campgrounds are not completely full those final spots are going fast.

With a clear forecast and seasonal temperatures Mountain Home and surrounding communities are already beginning to see the surge of visitors. For Ranger Edwards and his staff the influx is always ready to welcome visitors during the 4th of July holiday.

For those wishing to check local campgrounds for occupancies visit the National Recreation Reservation Service online at www.recreation.gov.
