ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – An Abilene mother accused of posting a video of herself using cocaine on social media while her child was at home has been arrested.

Hailey Butcher was booked into the Taylor County Jail Monday for Endangering a Child in connection to the allegations.

Court documents state Child Protective Services began investigating Butcher after she posted a video to social media in December 2024 that allegedly showed her “cutting cocaine into lines” while saying her 2-year-old son was in the house.

In January 2025, the documents state the child was administered a court ordered drug test, which returned positive for cocaine and marijuana.

Butcher then admitted to using cocaine in the video and other times around her child, according to the documents.

She now remains held in the Taylor County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
