Mason Hodges, of Warrenton, was charged with aggravated malicious wounding.
Police say on May 17 at 2:18 a.m., officers received reports of a large fight at a parking lot in the 500 block of East Market Street. There, a man was found lying on the ground, unconscious, suffering from significant injuries to his head and face.
According to police, the victim was transported to the hospital and was later released.
Hodges was identified through security footage as a person of interest, and a second man was also initially being sought, but police say charges are not being filed against him.
Hodges was taken into custody in Fauquier County on Monday and is being held at the Fauquier County Adult Detention Center as he awaits being transported to Loudoun County.
