Wake-Up Weather: a literal rinse & repeat cycle prompts flooding concerns

Thursday, July 3rd, 2025

Summary:

Once again today, we are NOT CONCERNED WITH SEVERE WEATHER. Our main concern will be with the possibility of localized flash flooding. A flood watch is in effect for a few folks out west due to already a decent amount of accumulated rainfall and saturated soils. With this in mind, add a few extra minutes to your daily commute as roads are slick.

Today: Overcast skies with spotty hit and miss showers continuing with below average temperatures fueled by tropical moisture with a light breeze. High Temperature: 84° Winds: SSE 5-10 G 20 MPH

Tonight: Mostly cloudy, calm and seasonal packed with humidity and spotty showers and thunderstorms continuing overnight. Low Temperature: 74° Winds: SSE 5-10 MPH
