Tampa couple brings home a 3.36-carat diamond from Crater of Diamonds State Park

Lovejoy Diamond Screens posted to Facebook that Scott and Jennifer Freitas found a 3.36-carat white diamond at the park.

Lovejoy rents equipment for diamond mining at the park, including the all-important screens for sifting.

According to the post, the couple found the diamond in their third bucket at the park. Pictures with the post include a picture of the diamond with a certification card from the park.

The Lovejoy post stated that the park will issue a press release “in a week or two.”
