Pacific Northwest leaders respond to US House’s passage of Trump’s ‘Big Beautiful Bill’

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – President Donald Trump’s so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” has passed the U.S. House, and several Pacific Northwest leaders are speaking out.

Most of Oregon’s U.S. congressional delegation had previously spoken out against the bill, which included cuts to Medicaid that many leaders claim will cause 200,000 Oregonians to lose their health care.

The bill now heads to the president’s desk for his signature.
