The department posted on Facebook that officers tried to pull over Christopher A. Morris on Wednesday, July 2, for “a simple traffic stop” in Village West.
Officers wrote that Morris allegedly ran out of the car, leaving a four-month-old baby in the back seat.
Emergency personnel took the baby to stay with a grandparent, per Louisville police.
Officers said Morris had multiple felony arrest warrants for charges including:
Morris is also reportedly wanted for child endangerment, the LMPD wrote.
