Baton Rouge man charged with possessing child abuse material
BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A man accused of having child sexual abuse material in Baton Rouge has been arrested.
According to the Louisiana State Police, the FBI sent the LSP Special Victims Unit a case involving the sexual exploitation of a 15-year-old child. Carlos Montano, 32, was identified as a suspect who bought the material.
Montano was arrested and taken to East Baton Rouge Parish Prison. He was charged with 23 counts of possession of pornography involving juveniles and one count of trafficking of children for sexual purposes. State police said additional charges may be filed.
