1 taken to hospital after nearly drowning at BREC’s Liberty Lagoon

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — One person was taken to a hospital after nearly drowning at BREC’s Liberty Lagoon Waterpark on Wednesday, July 2.

First responders confirmed the incident happened around 4:10 p.m.

There is no word on the person’s condition at this time.
