Texas students frequently rely on AI in their studies, study says

DALLAS (KDAF) — As artificial intelligence tools continue to advance, students are using AI to complete schoolwork at an alarming rate.

A new study from Preply surveyed American students about their AI usage habits in school.

In Texas, 50% of respondents admitted to using AI daily, and 86% use it weekly. Students use it for 212 minutes per week on average, the 5th highest in the US. ChatGPT is the most used AI, followed by Deepseek.
