Arthur D. Frierson IV, 21, was charged with the following:
Officers with the Madison County Sheriff’s Department observed a stolen car traveling east on State Road 32 near Rangeline Road on Saturday at approximately 12:13 p.m. The man driving the vehicle saw the officers and allegedly fled from deputies; a chase ensued.
The suspect crashed the Honda CR-V within just a few minutes at 10th Street and Scatterfield Road and he began running. He was caught hiding in a trash can.
Authorities later found three guns in the vehicle. Two of the three guns were reported stolen.
Two passengers in the vehicle were also taken to an area hospital and released.
