LAKE CHARLES, La. (
KLFY) — A Lake Charles man
thought to have been killed in a hit-and-run Sunday was found to have been shot to death, authorities said.
The body of Kalin J. Stevens, 23, of Lake Charles, was found Sunday night in the 6700 block of U.S. 90 in Lake Charles after a 911 hang up call, according to Calcasieu Parish Sheriff Stitch Guillory.
“We initially believed the incident to be a traffic fatality, but after further investigation detectives learned the victim had several gunshot wounds,” Guillory said. “As a result of the investigation our CPSO Violent Crimes detectives have issued warrants for two suspects.”
Larry J. Bigelow, Jr., 22, and Titus T. Tezeno, 22, both of Lake Charles, are wanted on charges of second degree murder. Their bonds have been set at $1.5 million.
Anyone who knows of their whereabouts is asked to call CPSO at 491-3605 or Crime Stoppers at 439-2222. They should be considered armed and dangerous.
