JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A man accused of pointing a gun at a Jackson police officer appeared in court for his preliminary hearing on July 1.

Onterrio McDougle, 20, was denied bond and will remain in jail until his next hearing. He is seeking new representation in the case.

McDougle was arrested on June 6, along with Zybralian Johnson, 19, after authorities conducted a search warrant on a home in the 3000 block of Meadow Forest.

Police said multiple guns, including guns with switches, were recovered. Officers also seized a felony about of marijuana, money and four stolen vehicles.

McDougle was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, terrorist threats, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute while in possession of a firearm and four counts of possession of a machine gun conversion device.

Johnson was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute while in possession of a firearm and four counts of possession of a machine gun conversion device.

According to police, McDougle was wanted for a social media post from March that showed him pointing a gun at a law enforcement officer.
