Suspect found shot following chase with Troop NOLA: LSP
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A person was found shot following a car chase with the Louisiana State Police’s Troop NOLA which happened in the Ninth Ward on Tuesday afternoon, July 1.
According to the LSP, the chase ended near N. Villere Street and Poland Avenue, where the suspect vehicle reportedly crashed into an LSP unit. The driver of the vehicle was then found with a gunshot wound and was taken to a local hospital.

The investigation remains ongoing, although LSP officials report that no troopers fired any weapons during the incident.
