MARKSVILLE, La. (WNTZ) — Paragon Casino Resort has been named the winner of the 2025 Bizzy Award for Best Business Website, earning recognition from the Central Louisiana Regional Chamber of Commerce for its innovation, customer engagement and contributions to regional economic growth.

The award was presented at the 13th Annual Bizzy Awards Gala hosted by the Chamber, which honors businesses and organizations across Central Louisiana. Winners were selected through a combination of votes from Chamber members and a panel of independent judges.

“For over 30 years, Paragon has been more than a destination — it’s been a driver of jobs, tourism and community partnerships in Avoyelles Parish,” said Marshall Ray Sampson, Sr., general manager of Paragon Casino Resort. “We are proud to be recognized for creating an online experience that reflects the quality, excitement and hospitality that guests expect when they visit us in person.”

The Best Business Website award recognizes excellence in online presence, design, functionality and user experience. Paragon’s website offers guests streamlined access to booking, promotions, entertainment schedules and resort amenities.

The award comes as Paragon Casino Resort concludes its 30th year serving Central Louisiana. Opened in 1994 and owned by the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana, Paragon features a casino, hotel, spa, pools, golf course, movie theater, event space and numerous dining options. The resort employs more than 700 people and is a significant economic driver for the area.

The Bizzy Award joins other recent honors for Paragon, including accolades from Casino Player Magazine, Resort Destinations Magazine and the Louisiana Travel Association.
