Burglars smash glass, steal merchandise from Magnificent Mile clothing store for 2nd time in less than a month

CHICAGO — Burglars executed a smash-and-grab at a Magnificent Mile clothing store for the second time in less than a month overnight.

Three people smashed a glass window at the Alo store, located in the 700 block of North Michigan Avenue, just after 3 a.m. Tuesday, according to Chicago police. The burglars then took off with merchandise from the store and fled the scene.

Police say nobody is in custody, and Area Three detectives are investigating the burglary.

A similar burglary happened at the same store on June 5.
